Nitrocellulose Cellulose for Dope is made from prepared cotton and saltpeter vitriol which professed through ester reaction and dealed stable. Molecular formula [C6H702(OH)3-r(ON02)r]n
Main Character: Nitrocellulose cellulose is white floc and chips fiber, the density is 1.65-1.67g/cm3, can be liquefied in acet., second ester of acetic acid camphor ethanol, and etc solvent. It is flammable. It will be very sensetitive to machinery i***ct when the alcohol is lower. Because the different condition during nitrate, Nitrocellulose will have a different nitrogen content and solubility. When the nitrogen content exceeds 12.5%, it will change into blast substance, at the same time the character will be not very stable.
